Meat in the Tayyibat Diet

Dr. El-Awady compares the effect of eating meat on the body to the effect of transplanting a new kidney; both are considered factors that may stimulate the immune system.

Meat in general is highly antigenic, meaning that even a slight change in its quality, form, or cooking method can alter its effect on the body.

In contrast, sugar is among the least antigenic substances; for example, cane sugar, when entering the body, is easily absorbed and directed to the liver without causing significant stress to the immune system .
