Fish, Seafood, and Meat in the Tayyibat Diet

Fish and seafood Allowed in the Tayyibat Diet

Fish and seafood are also classified into levels based on fiber tissue texture and quality.

โ—      Tilapia fish (including frozen tilapia)

โ—      Canned tuna

Not allowed in the Tayyibat Diet:

โ—      Mullet fish

โ—      Shrimp and squid

Note: Fish must be sea fish, not farmed fish, because it is believed that humans are affected by what the fish has consumed.

Meat in the Tayyibat Diet

Meat is also classified into levels:

First level:

โ—      Lamb, kid (young goat), and goat meat

Second level:

โ—      Liver, except chicken liver

Third level:

โ—      Camel meat and fish meat

Fourth level:

โ—      Veal meat and poultry (e.g., pigeon)

Fifth level (lowest level):

โ—      Beef

Notes:

1.    The most important criterion for meat is that it should not be tough or fibrous, but rather soft and easy to chew, such as shank and Chuck cuts.

2.    Beef and veal should be boiled first and then well-cooked (well done) until fully done, so that they become easy to chew.

3.    Beef is considered the lowest rank because it is the hardest to digest.

4.    In general, the Tayyibat Diet favors food that is easy to chew, easy to digest, easy for the body to absorb nutrients from, and easy to eliminate waste from.
