Grains Allowed in the Tayyibat Diet

Grains allowed in the Tayyibat Diet

Dr. El-Awady emphasizes that grains are the primary source of muscle protein and hair growth. The allowed grains include only the following:

●      Rice

●      Wheat

●      Corn

●      For Dr. El-Awady, rice is a creation of God, whereas pasta is man-made, and the two are not equivalent. He does not approach the issue from a purely religious perspective, but he uses religious reference points to support his viewpoint.

●      The first mistake, in his view, is equating what is naturally created with what is industrially manufactured. Rice is a natural food created by God, while pasta is a processed industrial product. So how can both be grouped under a single category such as “carbohydrates”?

●      As a result, he argues, equations, classifications, and labels such as “calories” are introduced, which ultimately lead to treating fundamentally different substances as if they were the same.
